4G WiMAX Embedded Modem Kit

Built to work specifically with the Sprint 4G Network, the Skyus™ platform is a rugged, low-cost 4G Modem Kit designed for embedded systems. The Skyus platform reduces the complexity and simplifies integration efforts of adding mobile connectivity in M2M solutions. This is accomplished by combining the 4G WiMAX module within a specialized adapter board that is specifically built for embedded and M2M applications.

Utilizing USB standardized connections for the physical interface, the Skyus is readily compatible with a variety of computing architectures and operating environments. The Skyus supports specific Windows operating systems and Linux-based environments.

Designed for M2M

Unlike many modems on the market, the Skyus provides access for software for developers and third party development efforts. Integration with a range of Linux-based development environments is supported through a publicly available SDK and open driver sets.

Signal enhancement is supported via the two external antenna ports which support a wide variety of enterprise grade antennas to increase the range and quality of 4G service. The Skyus features a rugged casing, optimized for embedded environments. The Skyus 4G provides Sprint 4G internet access with wireless speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G in those metropolitan areas across the country enabled with 4G mobile broadband service.
