Overview

The CIRA VT is a rugged GPS-enabled cellular/Wi-Fi solution with an integrated vehicle analytics and data mining platform. This customer-driven solution is engineered for in-vehicle applications that require persistent connectivity and hardware reliability in a mobile environment. The solution combines extensive fleet management and analytics capabilities with GPS tracking, mobile Wi-Fi and intelligent power management. The CIRA VT's modular design allows for component level upgrades and flexible configuration options, allowing the solution to adapt to current and future needs.

The CIRA VT's vehicle diagnostics interface connects to the vehicle’s On-Board Diagnostics port (OBDII, CanBus or JBus) to instantly process and transmit engine and operating data to fleet managers. Real-time data mining technology provides analytics, modeling, benchmarking, and monitoring of vehicle health, driver behavior, fuel-consumption, and fleet characteristics. With extensive real-time remote management and location-based protocols, the CIRA VT gives fleet managers an all in one solution to locate, track, and manage their fleets from the corporate office.

Security & Persistent Network Connectivity

The CIRA VT features a real-time operating system capable of managing the cellular network connection and vehicle internal connections. The solution is optimized to detect and correct cellular connectivity issues such as dropped data sessions and data packet loss at the fringes of the cellular coverage area. The embedded firewall contains an array of advanced security features, making it easy to securely transmit sensitive data over the public Internet. The wireless network is WPA certified, and features Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), which protects your Wi-Fi network from attacks and safeguards data. Dual SSIDs allow both public and private Wi-Fi access.
